April 5, 1957: Traded by the Brooklyn Dodgers to the Philadelphia Phillies for a player to be named later, Mel Geho (minors), Tim Harkness, Ron Negray, Elmer Valo and $75,000. The Philadelphia Phillies sent Ben Flowers (April 8, 1957) to the Brooklyn Dodgers to complete the trade.

December 5, 1959: Traded by the Philadelphia Phillies with Ray Semproch to the Detroit Tigers for Alex Cosmidis (minors), Ted Lepcio and Ken Walters.
