June 7, 1955: Traded by the Brooklyn Dodgers to the Philadelphia Phillies for Dave Cole and cash.

April 5, 1957: Traded by the Philadelphia Phillies with a player to be named later, Mel Geho (minors), Tim Harkness, Elmer Valo and $75,000 to the Brooklyn Dodgers for Chico Fernandez. The Philadelphia Phillies sent Ben Flowers (April 8, 1957) to the Brooklyn Dodgers to complete the trade.
