Biographical Information

Yutaka Doi signed with the Osaka Tigers in 1956, and he had a 3.23 ERA in 20 appearances in 1958. He only pitched one game in 1959, and he had a 2.40 ERA in 9 relief outings in 1961. The Tigers then traded him with Kazuo Takaira to the Daimai Orions for Katsuya Fukutsuka and Tameo Iio, but he didn't reach the big club in 1963 and he announced his retirement.
