Biographical Information[edit]
Yu Takeda has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Takeda played for Mitsubishi West of the Industrial League, and the Yokohama BayStars selected him in the first round of the 2024 NPB draft after they lost the lottery for the rights to Yumeto Kanemaru; the scout was Kazuo Fujita. [1] He debuted against the Chunichi Dragons on August 16, 2025, and he got his first win with 7 shutout innings.
