Biographical Information

Yoshihide Sakata signed with the Mainichi Orions in 1952, and he hit .179/.258/.286 in 15 games in 1953. He didn't return to the big club again, and he announced his retirement in 1955. His brothers Kiyoharu Sakata and Masayoshi Sakata both played in NPB.
