Weldon Wyckoff was the first player in Major League history with a last name that starts with "Wyc." As of 2025, he is currently the only one.
Notable Achievements[edit]
- 200 Innings Pitched Seasons: 1 (1915)
- Won two World Series with the Philadelphia Athletics (1913) and the Boston Red Sox (1916) (he played in neither World Series)
