Biographical Information

Wallace Clark has played in the minors and for the British national team. His father Tim Clark also played pro ball.

He hit .416/.577/.623 as a high school freshman, .506/.634/.909 as a sophomore, .500/.650/.821 as a junior and .439/.605/.796 as a senior, when he was also 7-1 with a 1.14 ERA; he won All-State honors. He was also a state champion in football, as a quarterback and safety. He hit .257/.397/.296 as a college freshman and played in the 2022 College World Series. He was again the starting third baseman for the Sooners in '23, batting .237/.392/.345. Transferring to Duke, he produced at a .285/.451/.446 rate in 2024.

In the 2024 U-23 Baseball World Cup, he played for his birth country of England, hitting .280/.400/.400 and handling 31 chances error-free. With the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the Cape Cod League that summer, he kept on hitting at .304/.448/.457. His senior year at Duke, he scored 65 runs in 60 games, drawing 55 walks and hitting .307/.478/.507. His 43 HBP in 2024-2025 put him third on Duke's career list despite having only played two seasons at the school.

The Arizona Diamondbacks took him in the 9th round of the 2025 amateur draft. He was 3-for-25 with 10 walks, 3 runs and 3 RBI for the Visalia Rawhide that summer. He was a late replacement for Lucius Fox on the British team for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. He debuted as a pinch-hitter for Ian Lewis Jr. late in their 9-1 loss to Team USA and struck out against Brad Keller.
