Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Trey Beamon was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2nd Round of the 1992 amateur draft. He played for three major league teams during three years in the majors. In the minors, he posted a career average near .300, including a high of .334 in AAA in 1995.

In 1994, Beamon won the Southern League batting title with the Carolina Mudcats.

Through 2008, he is one of three major leaguers with the name "Beamon". The others are Charlie Beamon, Sr. and Charlie Beamon, Jr..
