Biographical Information[edit]

Todd Lamb played in the minor leagues and for the USA national baseball team.

Lamb was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 18th round of the 1980 Amateur Draft, but he didn't sign and went to college. He represented the USA in the 1981 World Games and 1981 Intercontinental Cup. [1] The Atlanta Braves picked him in the 10th round of the 1983 Amateur Draft, and he was 4-7 with a 4.83 ERA for the Durham Bulls. He went 11-7 with a 4.45 ERA there in 1984, and he was 6-9 with a 4.68 ERA in 1985 for the Greenville Braves. Lamb returned to the Bulls in 1986, but he slumped to 9-9 with a 5.56 ERA and he announced his retirement.

As a pro, Lamb had gone 30-32 with a 4.87 ERA in 115 games in 4 seasons.
