Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Saunders pitched two seasons in the independent leagues, for a total of four teams. In 2004, he was with the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks of the Northern League and the Evansville Otters of the Frontier League, combining to go 1-0, 5.80 with 1 save in 15 games. In 2005, he played for The Grays, a road team in the Can-Am Association and the Mesa Miners of the Golden Baseball League (his stats for that last team are wrongly attributed to former major leaguer Tony Saunders, but Tony had been retired for a number of years at that point). Tim went 1-0, 1.80 for Mesa and 1-1, 6.65 for The Grays.
