Biographical Information[edit]

Terry Hankins played in the minor leagues and in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Hankins was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 11th round of the 1967 Amateur Draft, and he played 105 games with a .204/.240/.272 batting line for the West Palm Beach Braves in 1968. He recorded a .254/.285/.364 batting line for the Shreveport Braves in 1969, and he also hit .265/.344/.425 for the Greenwood Braves that season. Hankins crushed 4 homers with a .261/.334/.333 batting line with the independent Raleigh-Durham Triangles in 1970, then he left the team. The Kintetsu Buffaloes signed him in 1972, but he hit .233/.313/.326 in 24 games and his professional career ended. He played 110 games in his career at short, 85 at third, 70 in the outfield and 15 at second.
