Biographical Information

Takuma Sadaoka was drafted by the Daiei Hawks in the 7th round of the 2004 NPB draft, but he didn't reach the big club and he was released in 2006. The Chiba Lotte Marines signed him, but he still failed to make it to the top team. He was released again in 2011, and he signed with the Rakuten Golden Eagles. Sadaoka finally debuted in 2012, and he was 5-for-32 for the big club. He spent the 2013 season in the minors, and he announced his retirement. His father was NPB outfielder Chiaki Sadaoka, and his uncles were NPB pitcher Shoji Sadaoka and outfielder Tetsuhisa Sadaoka.
