Biographical Information

Tetsuhisa Sadaoka was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 3rd round of the 1982 NPB draft, and he was 0-for-8 in 1983. He went 2-for-16 in 1984, and he only got 2 more at-bats before the Carp traded him to the Nippon Ham Fighters for cash. Sadaoka was 0-for-2 in 1989, and he announced his retirement in 1990. His brothers were NPB pitcher Shoji Sadaoka and outfielder Chiaki Sadaoka, and his nephew was NPB outfielder Takuma Sadaoka.
