Biographical Information[edit]
According to David Nemec, Studs Bancker was arrested numerous times for incidents that occurred as a result of his drinking addiction. He was with a semipro club in Easton, PA in 1874 that won the state's championship along with Jim Devlin, Joe Battin, George Bradley, and a few other major leaguers.
