He joined the independent Lubbock Crickets of the Texas-Louisiana League for 1995, going 4-12 with a 5.76 ERA in 22 games (18 starts). He was second in the league in losses, behind Earl Steinmetz's 13.
Overall, Sadecki went 29-34 with a 3.79 ERA in 161 games (52 starts). In 466 innings, he allowed 461 hits and 211 walks (1.442 WHIP), while striking out 321 batters. At Triple-A, he was 3-3 with a 6.00 ERA in 19 games (2 starts).
