Biographical Information[edit]

Steve Minus played in the Boston Red Sox system from 1999 to 2001, peaking at High-A. He was originally taken by the New York Mets in the 47th round of the 1995 amateur draft, a couple picks ahead of pitcher Steve Green, but opted not to sign. Though drafted as a pitcher, he mostly played at corner infield positions during his pro tenure, hitting .241/.332/.352 with 18 home runs and 115 RBI in 295 games.
