Pacific Games
(Redirected from South Pacific Games)
The South Pacific Games (formerly the South Pacific Games) is a multi-sport event, much like the Olympics, (albeit on a much smaller scale), with participation exclusively from countries around the South Pacific. It is held every four years and began in 1963. Baseball has been included four times - 1999 ( Guam won the Gold), 2003 South Pacific Games ( Guam), 2007 South Pacific Games ( Palau) and 2011 Pacific Games ( Federated States of Micronesia). In between, there are the Pacific Mini-Games, which feature fewer events. Baseball was included in the 2005 South Pacific Mini-Games, won by Guam and 2022 Pacific Mini-Games (won by the Northern Mariana Islands).
