Biographical Information[edit]
Shota Hiranuma has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Hiranuma was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 4th round of the 2015 NPB draft. He only got 17 at-bats combined in his first three seasons, and he played 73 games with a .236/.291/.333 batting line in 2019. Hiranuma then hit .228/.299/.291 in 2020, and he slumped to .194/.284/.264 in 2021, and the Fighters traded him with Katsuhiko Kumon to the Seibu Lions for Ryusei Sato and Fumikazu Kimura. Hiranuma was 2-for-13 in the rest of the season, and he recorded a .260/.356/.342 batting line in 30 games in 2022. He hit .245/.284/.363 in 2023, and his batting line was .265/.317/.333 in 2024.
