Biographical Information

Shohei Mori has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Mori was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 2nd round of the 2021 NPB draft; the scout was Tomoya Sayashi. He pitched 8 games with a 1.89 ERA in 2022, and he was 4-3 with a 2.75 ERA in the NPB Farm Leagues. Mori then went 4-2 with a 4.53 ERA in 2023, and he started 5 games with a 2.70 ERA and a 1-3 record in 2024. He was 4-6 with a 2.44 ERA in the minors, and he led the Western League in strikeouts with 88 and ranked 4th in ERA (between Jun Maeda and Isaki Ninomiya).
