Biographical Information[edit]
Scott Friedholm has played in the minors and been a college coach.
He won All-Big East Conference as a sophomore in 1996 and hit .395 with a school-record 66 RBI as a senior. [1] He signed with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays as an undrafted free agent. As a backup backstop for the 1998 St. Petersburg Devil Rays, he was 3-for-15 with two walks, a double, two runs and a RBI; he had 28 chances error-free and allowed 3 steals in 3 tries.
He was then assistant coach at Bryant University (1999-2001), the University of Maine (2002-2005), The Naval Academy (2006-2010) and Boston College (2011-2014). From 2015-25, he was head coach of UNC Asheville, going 195-340-1. [2]
