Biographical Information[edit]
Ron Norman played for the USA national baseball team and in the minor leagues.
Norman represented the USA in the 1973 FEMBA Amateur World Series. The Texas Rangers picked him in the 5th round of the 1974 Amateur Draft, and he recorded a 0.78 ERA in 4 games for the GCL Rangers in 1974. He also went 2-4 with a 2.33 ERA for the Pittsfield Rangers that season, and he had a 7-9 record with a 6.19 ERA for the AAA Spokane Indians in 1975. Norman was 6-8 with a 7.45 ERA for the San Antonio Brewers in 1976, and he announced his retirement.
