Biographical Information[edit]

Robert Fick burst onto the major league scene with the Detroit Tigers in 1998 with a reputation as a solid batsman. His main claim to fame is being the last hitter to homer in Tiger Stadium before the Tigers moved to Comerica Park in 2000. His homer was a grand slam off the right field roof in the last game played at Tiger Stadium.

Fick became a hitting coach with the AZL Dodgers in 2016.

His brothers, Chris Fick and Chuck Fick, both played in the minor leagues. His nephew, Chuckie Fick, reached the big leagues in 2012.
