Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Rhylan Thomas was originally drafted by the New York Mets out of the University of Southern California in the 11th round of the 2022 amateur draft. He hit .363 in his final year at USC, albeit with only 2 homers. On July 26, 2024, he was traded to the Seattle Mariners in return for P Ryne Stanek.

he made his major league debut for the Mariners starting in right field and batting 9th against the Texas Rangers on May 2, 2025 after having started the season in AAA with the Tacoma Rainiers. He went1 for 4 with a run and 2 RBIs in his debut, his first hit being a double off Jack Leiter. The Mariners won the game 13-1.
