Biographical Information

Randal Díaz has played in the minors and for the Puerto Rican national team.

Díaz hit .280/.355/.400 for Puerto Rico in the 2024 U-23 Baseball World Cup, fielding .969 at short. He tied Tianyuan Hu for 7th with 18 assists. He was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 5th round of the 2024 Amateur Draft, and he hit .222/.296/.286 in 19 games for the Senadores de San Juan of the Puerto Rican Winter League in the winter. He represented Puerto Rico in the 2024 Premier 12, but he didn't get many chances. He hit for Yadiel Rivera against Mexico, and he was 0-for-2. He then started against the Netherlands, but he grounded into a double play against Tom de Blok then Rivera replaced him.
