Po-Chun Lin has pitched in the minor league.
Lin represented Taiwan in the 2022 U-18 Baseball World Cup, pitching 4 2/3 shutout innings for the Silver Medalists; he struck out 7. [1] He threw 3 2/3 shutout frames and whiffed six when Taiwan again placed second at the 2023 U-18 Baseball World Cup. [2] He allowed only one unearned run in eight innings when Taiwan won the 2024 Asian U-18 Baseball Championship; he won the tournament MVP. He lost to Japan's Haru Sakai but beat Yuki Kesamaru in a rematch with Japan in the finale. He was second in ERA to Mu-Heng Chen. [3]
The Seattle Mariners signed him on January 15, 2025 with a $635,000 signing bonus, but he missed the entire 2025 season due to right lat strain.
