Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Pat Biserta played in the St. Louis Cardinals system in 2010 and for the independent Newark Bears of the Can-Am League in 2011. He was taken by the Cardinals in the 24th round of the 2010 amateur draft, one pick ahead of pitcher Christian Bergman, and was signed by scout Sean Moran. With the Batavia Muckdogs that year, he hit .281/.339/.353 with 1 home run and 26 RBI in 53 games. With Newark in 2011, he hit .200/.277/.347 with 2 home runs and 12 RBI in 20 games. Between them, he hit .254/.319/.351 with 3 home runs and 38 RBI in 73 games.
