Biographical Information[edit]

P.J. Higgins began his major league career by going 0-for-15 before finally collecting his first hit, a single off San Diego Padres pitcher Austin Adams on June 2, 2021. He had more success in his second campaign, hitting a triple and driving in 3 runs in his first game of 2022; from June 2 to July 1, he slashed .351/.429/.514 in 37 at-bats over 17 games. He had another 3 RBI day in his final game of the season on October 5.

He clobbered his first career home run off Milwaukee Brewers reliever Trevor Kelley on May 30. He clobbered his second home run the next day, also off Kelley.
