Biographical Information

Osamu Uetsuji signed with the Osaka Tigers in 1969, and he only pitched 2 games combined for the big club in his first five seasons. The Tigers traded him with Masaaki Koga, Seiichi Ogawa, Hideo Hirayama and Kiyotake Suzuki to the Lotte Orions for Keiichi Inoue and Takenori Ikebe, but he didn't reach the big club again before he announced his retirement in 1980.
