Nunavut
Nunavut is the easternmost and youngest of Canada's three northern territories. It was created on April 1, 1999 as the result of a comprehensive land claim settlement with the Inuit population of Canada's Arctic, being split off from the Northwest Territories. Its capital is Iqaluit. A majority of the population is Inuit and Inuktitut is one of the territory's official languages, alongside English and French.
Given the Arctic climate, there is little baseball played here.
