Biographical Information

Nobuyoshi Suzuki was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 4th round of the 1977 NPB draft as a pitcher, and he was turned into an outfielder. Suzuki went 4-for-11 in 1983, and the Giants traded him to the Nankai Hawks for Masao Yamamoto. He hit .156/.250/.156 in 24 games in 1986, and he moved to the Hanshin Tigers in 1987. Suzuki was hitless in 5 at-bats that season, and he announced his retirement.
