Biographical Information

Nik Muhammad Haikal Hamdan has been on the Malaysian national team.

The teenager was 4-for-9 with two walks, a triple and two runs as a second baseman in the 2024 East Asian Baseball Cup, fielding .900. His first hit was off Thailand's Kiattisak Chutongrat. He tied Haikal Odin Muhammad for the team lead in hits and had their second-best OPS. At the 2025 Southeast Asian Games, though, he saw little action, going 0 for 4 with a HBP (from Vietnam's Dang Dinh Bao), handling six chances error-free.
