Biographical Information

Nelson Lara pitched in the minors leagues and the CPBL.

Lara began his professional career with the Oakland Athletics, and he was 0-1 with a 5.09 ERA for the AZL Athletics in 1990. He went 5-1 with a 3.79 ERA there in 1991, then he left the Athletics organization. The Mercuries Tigers signed him in 1993, and Lara went 1-1 with a 4.67 ERA for them. He left Taiwan after the 1993 season, and his professional career ended.
