Biographical Information

Natsuki Toda has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Toda pitched for the Tokushima Indigo Socks from 2019 to 2020, and he was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 7th round of the development phase in the 2020 NPB draft; the scout was Takahiko Nomaguchi. He went 8-1 with a 3.80 ERA in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2021, and he also pitched 3 shutout innings for the big club. He tied for second in the Eastern League in wins, two behind Ryotaro Mori; he also tied for 5th with 66 K. Toda then recorded a 3.31 ERA in 26 appearances in the minors in 2022, but his ERA was 6.55 in 14 games for the top team. He went 3-1 with a 3.52 ERA on the farm in 2023, and he improved to 2-2 with a 2.03 ERA and 2 saves in 2024. He didn't reach the big club in those two seasons though. Toda returned to the top team in 2025 as he pitched 2 games with a 3.38 ERA, and he also had a 2.42 ERA in 35 games in the minors.
