Biographical Information[edit]
Max Glasser attended the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a degree in Marketing and worked as a student manager for the baseball team. After graduating Glasser worked at a number of baseball-related jobs such a Baseball Video Scout with Sports Info Solutions and an Analytics Manager for Diamond Heroes Baseball.
In 2020 the Los Angeles Dodgers hired Glasser as a Video Associate and Development Coach with their Oklahoma City Dodgers affiliate before COVID-19 shut down the minor league season. Glasser did work with Oklahoma City in 2021 in this same capacity.
Glasser moved into more of a coaching role in 2022 with the Dunedin Blue Jays, in the Toronto Blue Jays system, where he served as a coaching assistant, a role that is often labeled as a development coaching position. This stint only lasted one year. Glasser returned to Ignite Baseball where he had started as a Hitting Instructor late in 2021. He gradually moved up in the organization to Assistant Director of Hitting and then Director of High Performance.[1]
The Baltimore Orioles hired Glasser away from Ignite Baseball in the spring of 2025 to work as a Major League Strategy Fellow. The Orioles promoted him to Junior Analyst for Advance Scouting in 2026.
