Biographical Information

Masayuki Kamigaki was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 2nd round of the 1974 NPB draft, and he only got 8 at-bats combined in his first two seasons. He had a 7-for-28 record in 1977, and he went 6-for-35 in 42 games in 1978. Kamigaki was 9-for-24 in 1980, and the Dragons released him. He signed with the Kintetsu Buffaloes, but he didn't reach the big club in 1981 and he announced his retirement.
