Biographical Information

Masaaki Kamanaka was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 2nd round of the 1987 NPB draft, and he was 3-3 with a 3.61 ERA for the Vero Beach Dodgers in 1989. However, he only played two games for the Dragons' top team, and he was released in 1995. The Kintetsu Buffaloes picked him up, but he didn't reach the big club in 1996 and he announced his retirement.
