Marvin Goldklang

Marvin Goldklang is a minority owner in the New York Yankees. Goldlklang also sat on the executive committee of the Israel Baseball League. Goldklang attended the famous Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a pitcher. After his playing days ended he obtained a law degree from Penn and a masters of law from New York University. After serving in the military, Goldklang entered the business and legal world’s full time.

In the late 1970s Goldklang was able to buy a limited partnership in the New York Yankees. From there his baseball influence grew as he purchased the Ft. Myers Miracle, Charleston River Dogs and Hudson Valley Renegades.

Goldklang has also served as the Chairman of the Board of the St. Paul Saints. He also played a role in the formation of both the Northern League and the new American Association in 2006. He also serves as the chairman of the Goldklang Group which manages the marketing and promotions for the three teams he owns as well as the St. Paul Saints, Sioux Falls Canaries and Brockton Rox. In the past the group as also worked with the Chicago White Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, Florida Marlins, Detroit Tigers and the Senior Professional Baseball Association.

In 2004 he was elected to the South Atlantic League Hall of Fame.
