Biographical Information[edit]
Mahlon Duckett, who died in 2015, was the last surviving member of the Philadelphia Stars. In 2008, he was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in a ceremonial draft that was held by Major League Baseball as a tribute to all the living Negro League players at the time.
