Biographical Information[edit]

Levon Largusa pitched in the minor leagues from 1992 to 1997, peaking at High-A.

He was originally taken by the Oakland Athletics in the 11th round of the 1989 amateur draft, one pick after Dan Masteller and a few after future Hall of Famer Trevor Hoffman, but opted not to sign. He did sign after being taken by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 3rd round of the 1992 amateur draft, one pick ahead of hurler Gus Gandarillas. His first two seasons were solid, as he went 5-2, 3.29 in 10 starts in the former and 3-1, 2.17 in 6 starts (10.2 K/9 IP) in the latter. He went 8-13 the rest of the way.

Overall, Largusa went 16-16 with a 4.32 ERA in 70 games (45 starts).
