Biographical Information[edit]
Kinji Nakamura signed with the Nankai club in 1938, and he hit .290/.376/.389 in 37 games in his first season. He was 4th in batting in the Japan Professional Baseball League, between Kano Omoda and Kentaro Ito. Nakamura played 83 games with a .256/.323/.304 batting line in 1939, and he missed the next two seasons due to military service. He went 3-for-19 in 1942, and his professional career ended. Nakamura coached Senyo High School in 1954, and he was an umpire of the Pacific League from 1955 to 1967.
Overall, Nakamura hit .262/.339/.324 with 110 hits in 3 seasons in NPB.
