Kevin Waller is a former minor league baseball player.
He was drafted twice: in the 11th round of the January phase of the 1978 amateur draft by the St. Louis Cardinals and in the first round of the January phase of the 1979 amateur draft by the Cincinnati Reds. He signed with the Reds and began his professional career that year with the Eugene Emeralds, hitting .235 in 57 games. He played in 29 games for the Cedar Rapids Reds in 1980, hitting only .151. In 1981, he moved to the Oakland Athletics system, where he played with the San Jose Missions, batting .248 in 82 games. He played his final professional season in 1982 with the Madison Muskies, hitting only .209 in 54 games. In total, he batted .227 in 222 minor league games, over a span of four years.
Following his professional career, he worked at the San Diego School of Baseball for 23 years. He was an assistant hitting coach for Western Illinois University in 2007.
