Biographical Information[edit]

Keisho Shirakawa pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization.

Shirakawa played for the Tokushima Indigo Socks after he graduated from high school, and the SSG Landers signed him in 2024 when Roenis Elías was injured. Shirakawa was the first Japanese player without NPB experience to pitch in KBO, and he was 2-2 with a 5.09 ERA for the Landers. SSG released him on July 2, and the Doosan Bears signed him. Shirakawa was 2-3 with a 6.04 ERA for the Bears in the rest of the season.
