Doosan Bears

The Doosan Bears won the first Korea Baseball Organization title in 1982 and followed up with championships in 1995 and 2001. The team is based out of Seoul. They were formerly called the OB Bears. They are based out of Jamsil Baseball Stadium.

They are owned by Doosan, a conglomerate primarily devoted to construction and heavy industry. Korean-American Hines Ward, a spokesman for biracial children in South Korea and 2006 Super Bowl MVP for the Pittsburgh Steelers, threw out the first pitch at a Bears game in 2006.
