Biographical Information

Keinosuke Kawasaki signed with the Chunichi Dragons in 1955, and he hit .150/.215/.300 in 49 games in his first season. He improved to .282/.317/.372 in 1956, and his batting line was .232/.266/.320 in 1957 as the backup to Michio Nishizawa at 1B. Kawasaki slumped to .154/.179/.185 in 1958, and he was 2-for-22 in 1959 then announced his retirement.

Overall, Kawasaki hit .210/.249/.296 with 88 hits and 4 homers in 5 seasons in NPB.
