Kazuma Mike was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the fourth round of the development phase in the 2011 NPB draft, but he didn't reach the big club before the Carp released him in 2013. He then played for the independent Shinano Grandserows in 2014, and he moved to the Ishikawa Million Stars from 2015 to 2016. The Chiba Lotte Marines picked him up in 2017, and he was 0-for-5 that season. Mike stayed in the minors in 2018, then he went 6-for-21 in 2019. He failed to return to the big club in 2020, and he announced his retirement. Mike later became a scout for the Marines, signing Atsuki Tomosugi, Seiya Matsubara and Akira Yagi.
