Biographical Information

Kaito Shimomura has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Shimomura was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the first round of the 2023 NPB draft; the scout was Makoto Yoshino. However, he underwent Tommy John surgery, so he missed his first two seasons. Shimomura made his NPB debut on July 2, 2026 against the Chunichi Dragons.
