Biographical Information[edit]
Justin Morales has represented the Netherlands in several international tournaments.
He was 0-2 with a 4.42 ERA in the 2022 U-18 Baseball World Cup, losing to Cam Tilly of the champion USA and dropping a 1-0 decision to South Korea's Young-cheol Yoon. His 10 walks tied Seo-hyeon Kim and Joao Marostica for second-most. [1] During the 2024 U-23 Baseball World Cup, the tall Aruban went 0-1 with a 2.25 ERA, losing a 1-0 decision again, this time to Nicaragua's Jared Albir, a former Brewers farmhand. His 10 strikeouts in the event led his team, 3 ahead of Jelle van der Lelie. [2] He was 3-4 with a 6.38 ERA for Tallahassee State in 2024-2025. [3]
Morales had a 0-1, 3.15 record for the Netherlands in the 2025 U-23 European Championship, dropping a game to Britain's Andrew Campbell. [4] He remained with them for the 2025 European Championship, their youngest player (six months younger than the next, Michael Vilchez). He made one appearance for the champs, replacing Scott Prins with a 6-1 lead in the 6th against Israel. He struck out the side (Robb Paller, Assaf Lowengart on 3 pitches and Brett Holtz) before turning the ball over to Jaydenn Estanista. [5]
