Biographical Information[edit]
Jiro Moriguchi signed with the Tokyo Senators in 1937, and he went 3-for-22 in the spring season. He was 4-for-17 in the 1938 spring season, and he hit .233/.341/.276 in 34 games in the fall season. Moriguchi slumped to .142/.394/.159 in 56 games in 1939, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Moriguchi hit .183/.356/.209 with 49 hits in 4 seasons in NPB.
