Biographical Information[edit]
Ji-hwan Shin has played in the Korea Baseball Organization.
Shin was drafted by the SSG Landers in the 2nd round of the 2025 KBO draft, and he pitched a shutout inning for the big club in 2025.[1] He then represented South Korea in the 2025 Asian Championship. Shin pitched 1 2/3 shutout innings against Hong Kong with 2 strikeouts (Cheuk-Kiu Chan and Chun-Lam Mok), and he completed 1 1/3 innings versus Chinese Taipei with a RBI single allowed to Yu-Li Lin. Korea beat China to won Bronze. [2]
