Biographical Information[edit]

Jarvis Tatum played in 1968-70 for the California Angels and then was traded to the Boston Red Sox who released him in April 1971. He then signed with the Yakult Atoms in Japan.

He is one of only two major leaguers (through 2007) with the first name "Jarvis", the other being Jarvis Brown.

He appeared in 13 games, hitting .347, for the legendary 1970 Hawaii Islanders who went 98-48.
